Letter to Friend

The conversation that we had last on the phone left me a bit confused. I’m not completely sure of what level you’re on.

From what you tell me about this program you’re in, it’s as though it’s a program consisting of lots of structure. And although this may overwhelm you at times, It is what you need. It will help to build a good foundation in your new recovery.

God has offered you another chance and is showing you there is another way of life but only if you surrender to it and truly want it for yourself and not because someone is making you do it.

Be grateful for what has been laid out in front of you. And be sure to thank Him everyday.

Heroin is nothing but the devil. At first he convinces you that he is your best friend. Then he stabs you in the back. Addiction is the one disease that speaks to you, lies to you and steals from you.  It has robbed me of everything.
